well we did it! the first week is over ! we decided to cancel our cable and put her in the 4 year old pre-k class instead of the 3-4 preschool class. i hope it was the right decision, but we're all happy and excited none the less. our bus trips are a little wild, but the kids have been so good so far getting right on and sitting down all by them selves. I think I figured out that one ticket will be enough to get us there and back, so that saves $1.50 a day. Beau is a little sad about not ever getting to go inside Lily's classroom and play. That makes me a little sad. I think because he wen't to her orientation and played then, he thinks he'll be able to to. He's been such a good sport these last few days, I can't wait to spend more time with him.
Today Beau and I decided to stay at Wright Park, which is right next to the preschool. I brought pb&j and some books and toys and we headed down to the toys. It was a pretty good idea. The time passed relatively quickly. The main problem with that was that I had forgotten my cell phone. So I had no idea what time it was. So that along with all the homeless people who passed us and the fact that it was freezing at that shady park and that no other kids ever came that we could meet and play with, it was a pretty good time. Beau and I had fun. Hopefully we'll be able to hang out there for the next few weeks and not have to take the bus there back and forth. Also I'm going to do MOPS, which will take up two days out of the month
So, I'm sure we'll have many more stories over the year, thanks in sharing with us the beginnings!
