Some shots of us enjoying the snow! Lily had the most fun, she was up for heading out every day, while Beau got a little tired of the cold. Our most fun I think was last night when we went to a hill with some friends with our innertubes. The conditions were great and it was a fun way to end the snow adventure that this last week has been.
Below is Lily after asking to be covered in snow!

It's hard to believe how many days of school we've missed! Tacoma schools will only be 2 hours late today, but that isn't enough to get Lily back. Hopefully we'll go tomorrow for her pajama party! She's missed over a week of school! I'm wondering if private schools make up days at the end of the year or not? Anyone?

We've been working of potty training while we're stuck at home, it's going ok. Beau isn't too thrilled about it and I'm not sure I'm going to continue, we'll maybe keep working through the weekend, but if he's not motivated then I'm not going to make it all about me. Lily was 3 before she was officialy potty trained, so we'll try again in a few months. The only real pressure is so he can play at IKEA. They have to be 3 and potty-trained. He definitly likes his Lightning McQueen and Superman underwear!

Snow Day

We had a great day out in the snow today. Dressing only took about 15 minutes and we stayed outside almost 2 hours (including a trip to Starbucks of course :) Poor Lily ... they're both wearing size 2T snowbibs, I guess it would have been worth it to buy her some new ones this year! Here's some pictures of us playing!

Our walk to Starbucks. I can't say it enough, we just love this city. I hope we never have to move off this street.

Playing in the Taco Bell parking lot! There's our bus stop. :)

Sledding down our ... hill ?

Theology

I just have to report that while I'm blogging, my little theologians are reading the Bible together, (break my heart) and here's there conversation:

Lily: "Beau if you die, will you come back"

Beau: "Yes"

Lily: "No, Beau, you wont"

Beau: "Ohh"

Also ... last night, while getting in the bath, Lily announced that she was going to get "bathtubbed" "what are you going to do?" we questioned, "get bathtubbed, like Jesus"

Translation: "get baptized"

My little cheese-balls!

Ballet

My little ballerina! We've been wanting to put Lily in a ballet class since she was 2 and the day has arrived. She got a class for Christmas from Nana and yesterday we did a little ballet-class-hopping to choose the right one. :) We also got a YMCA membership from my mom, so we were thinking it would make sense to have her take ballet there, but we just fell in love with Jo Emery School of Dance right here on 6th Ave, just up the street. Ever since we moved here, we've wanted Lily to take ballet there, but we figured it was too expensive. When we found out it was pretty reasonable, we decided to give it a try. Well it was a great class, her friend Isabella from school is in the class, which really boosted Lily's confidence, her teacher is Jo (Jo Emery), there are only 5 girls in the class, its really the real deal. We'll get some more pictures up here next time we get to view a class, these were unfortuneatly mostly blurry, although I think we may have figured out our blurry problem, just not in time for ballet. Anyways, we're very excited about this new chapter in Lily's life. Lily did such a wonderful job listening to her teacher, paying attention, folloing along. I really was so proud of her. She was scared in the beginning, but she really caught on quick. She said her favorite part was the skipping, those are the pictures that look like she's running. Her classes will be Saturday morning and hopefully it will make us slow down a little and have a little more family time. Something that I'm dreaming about today :(. Well here are the pics, there's kind of a lot, but she's just so precious! Thanks to all my loyal readers/viewers, I love you!
