This is just a test to see how easy it is to post pics from our new computer. It worked pretty good, but it's really hard to see the picture files, they're pretty small. We need to get on top of organizing our pics better. I'm terrified of this computer being stolen and losing all of them! Any advice or personal experience on a flickr account?

I have a flicker account and LOVE it. I splurged for the "pro" account which is about 30 bucks a year. It is pretty fast to upload, not bad to edit, and easy to label photos. It makes me feel good to have all those files backed up for the same reason. Also, it makes sharing photos with family and friends super easy! (and you can pick your privacy settings)
IF your terrified of losing your pics. The best thing to do is to burn them to a DVD form back up. Each dvd holds about 4Gigs worth of pictures which is hundreds. And most computers or new computers are able to burn pictures. Windows comes with the ability to copy files to a cd/dvd
