Help

Lily on yardwork day with the family.
Beau running through the sprinkler at the cabin and splashing water on his head in our pool.
So, I've been having some trouble lately with my pictures being to big. I know nothing about file sizes or anything having to do with computers besides click this, click that. I tried downloading these pictures onto a baby photo contest and I think they said the pictures couldn't be more than 60 kb or mb or something and these were like 900. What am I doing wrong? Is my camara set to the wrong setting or how can I change them once they're on my computer? Who can help me?

Your kids are utter cuteness!! I love these! You can shrink the file size on your computer. It's not a camera issue. It depends on your program, for exactly how to do it...but try going under the "save as" window and see if there's a spot where you can change the number of pixels...reduce that number...I wish I could be of more help!! I love you though! ~Becky W

Yaaay Becky you did it! I'm not sure if I figured out the most effective way, but it's working. Thank you for responding!

You can also go to the paint program in windows and open your picture there. You go to edit and selecte stretch/skew. A window opens and as to imput boxes reudce the number from 100 to 50 or 30 and then save your new picture and that should reduce your kb by quite a bit. Hope that works for you.
